War. Com. Pleas Application for Naturalization. On the 21st day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and thirty four personally appeared in open court Hugh Allen
and applicant for Naturalization who being duly sworn according to Law
deposeth and saith that it is his bona fide intention to become a citizen
of the United States of America, that he will support the constitution
of the United States, that he doth hereby absolutely and entirely renounce
and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince potentate,
state or sovereignty whatever; and particularly he renounces all allegiance
and fidelity to his Majesty William the IV King of the United Kingdoms
of Great Britain, Ireland and Scotland &c. to whose Kingdom he was
heretofore a subject; and the said Hugh Allen also saith that he has never
borne any hereditary title of been of any of the orders of nobility in
any County whatever; and further saith not. |
