7 Jun 2009 from Michael Ford: "The caption for the grave marker for Dyer I. (aka Isaac D.) Spence shows a birthdate of 1878. I can see from the pictures that it could be read as 1878 but I could also read it as 1873. The 1880 census on 12 Jun 1880 clearly shows "Isaac D." as being 7 years old which would conform to a birth in 1873. Matella Prickett Doughman in her 1935 genealogy of the Jackson family shows a birthday of 4-22-1873 which would be in agreement with both the 1880 census and a date of 1873 on the grave marker. Beers History of Warren County shows a birthdate of 4-22-1872 for Isaac on page 1042 which is the date that Janie Jackson Kimball shows in her online Jackson Family genealogy."
