James H. Tilton married Rachel Hutchinson on 18 Sep. 1833 in Warren Co. She died 5 Apr. 1850 and is buried in Pioneer Cemetery. James H. Tilton and Hester (Lamb) Keever, widow of James Keever, obtained a marriage license on 24 Sep. 1850 in Warren Co. No record of a return was filed. Hester was a daughter of Thompson Lamb and Caroline W. Stevenson who are buried in Pioneer Cemetery.
