Warren County Roads And Their Name Changes

Many of our county roads have had name changes in the past which are at the present time unrecognizable. The writer has inserted in his book "Early Transportation in Warren County," a compilation of 266 county roads, their individual names, townships in which they ran, and the dates of their founding and completion. At this time I shall draw from this reference 43 roads which have had name changes down through the years. They are listed alphabetically.

2. COLD SPRINGS RD. - Turtlecreek Twp. 1827-1890. (Formerly Miami River Rd.)
3. COLUMBIA RD. - Turtlecreek, Union & Deerfield Twp. 1819- 1867. (Formerly Union Free Turnpike Rd.)
4. CONES RD. - Hamilton Twp. & Loveland - 1806. (Formerly Old River Rd.)
5. CORWIN RD. - Wayne Twp. - 1807-1869. (Formerly Miami Rd.)
